How We Work
Your Journey with Prisma Tax Group
We believe in clear communication and mutual respect in every client relationship. We’ve outlined what you can expect from us and what we expect from you to make sure we’re aligned from the start.
To get started with any service, an up front deposit is required to secure your spot as a client. You’ll then submit your documents for review, and we’ll provide an upfront quote for the work. Once everything is confirmed and paid, our team will begin executing the service and keep you updated throughout the project.
Client Expectations
Our goal is to provide you with top-tier service. Here’s what you can expect from us, and what we ask from you in return:
What You Can Expect from Us:
Clear pricing and timelines: No hidden fees—just straightforward pricing and clear deadlines.
Expert guidance: We’ll break down complex tax advice in a way that’s easy for you to understand.
Confidentiality: Your documents and information will always be handled securely and with the utmost care. We also ask clients to sign mutual NDAs before services begin, ensuring privacy and trust from both sides.
Data security: We take security seriously. That’s why we’ve partnered with BastionX to create a custom network security infrastructure, complete with virtual machines and daily backups, to ensure your information is stored securely and protected from potential threats or breaches.
What We Expect from You:
Timely communication and submission of all required documents (within 1-2 business days).
Honesty in the information you provide.
Prompt payment for services as agreed upon.
Respect for our structured processes, boundaries, and staff.
When We Might Part Ways
We strive to build lasting relationships with our clients but there are some circumstances in which we may need to disengage. These include:
Non-payment or late payment: We expect payments to be made on time for the work we do
Lack of communication: If we repeatedly try to reach you and don’t hear back, it makes it hard for us to keep things moving smoothly.
Uncooperative behavior: We work best with clients who respect our processes and timelines.
Dishonesty or unethical behavior: If we suspect any fraudulent activity or receive false information, we’ll end the working relationship immediately.
Unrealistic demands or scope creep :Scope of work means the tasks and responsibilities we agreed to take care of for you. If you ask for additional work that wasn’t part of our original agreement, that’s called scope creep. If these extra requests go beyond what we initially agreed on without both of us approving the changes we may decide to end the working relationship.
Spamming us: If clients spam us by contacting on multiple platforms or attempt to reach out via direct messages on social media, we will disengage from the relationship
We’re passionate about what we do and love working with our clients, but at the end of the day, it’s a professional partnership. For it to thrive long-term, it’s important that we’re on the same page with mutual respect and a clear understanding on both sides. This includes being transparent and accurate when it comes to reporting income. While 1099s cover a lot, if you have additional cash income, it is required that you report it fully. Proper and complete reporting helps us provide the best possible service and ensures your financial records are accurate.
